Obituary for Pablo Torres Zubieta

Pablo Zubieta, age 70, passed away peaceful on June 27, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral Mass Services will be held July 2, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Lawrence officiating. Family will be welcoming friends for a Rosary on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 6p.m. to 7p.m. at the Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow the service at Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Pablo was born March 2, 1949 in Mexico to parents, Jesus and Elena Zubieta. He migrated to the United States in 1980. Pablo married the love of his life, Esperanza on March 23, 1992 in Mexico. Most of his life Pablo worked for some of the larger ranches in Texas, most recently working for the Link Ranch in Strawn. Pablo took pride in taking care of the cattle, building fences and any other ranch work that needing taken care of. In his earlier work for the ranches, Pablo worked in the Cotton harvesting for many years.
He enjoyed planting different varieties of fruit trees and plants. Pablo had many talents that he enjoyed, but two of them he took great pride in were; carpentry and welding. Pablo enjoyed taking trips to go back to Mexico and visit family and friends. Anyone that knew him well, knew that Pablo loved cowboy movies and reading in his free time at home. The bible was truly one of his favorite books, especially the book of Proverbs. Outside of his Catholic Church and family, his granddaughter, Natalie filled his life with such joy. He was a devote member of the Sacred Hearts Catholic Church, prayer group and bible study for over 15 years.
Pablo is survived by his loving wife, Esperanza of Breckenridge, children; Dulce Zubieta, Alma Zubieta, Luis Enrique Zubieta, Juan Zubieta and Alejandro Zubieta, sisters; Julia Zubieta, Eva Zubieta, Catalina Zubieta, brothers; Jose Zubieta, Jesus Zubieta, Luz Zubieta, granddaughter, Natalie Bernal, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends far and wide.
Pablo was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials can be made to the local Meals on Wheels in Breckenridge or the Sacred Hearts Catholic Church and may be left at the Melton-Kitchens office. Condolences may be made at
